Nikon 18-300m Macro & Wide..

Taking Macro shot with non-Macro lens is really depending on the lens and light. Here are two photos with My Nikon 18-300mm lens, in the first one I use it as a Macro sample and you can see the DOF on background and the small white flowers as s macro subject.

In this shot I use the 18-300m as a wide angle lens to shot the trees and the sky in a sunny day
