Qatar National Museum _5

From inside the Qatar National Museum, I decided to take this shot in Black and white. This is the traditional mask that a woman wears on her face. It is usually black in color, but on special occasions such as a wedding with her children, holidays, or visits. If the person is from the wealthy class, she wears shiny black or violet-tinged to shiny gold. In all cases Black is the basic color, so it is not violet, but rather black with a violet and golden overtone.

These towers contain water tanks. They were found in many large private houses compound in the 60s and 70s. I don’t know the reason for this, but there is one in our house and it is higher than this. These days, the water tanks are on the ground.

It’s July, we are almost 44c/111F temperature, last week it was 48c, in August, we will reach 50c/120F with high humidity, walking and taking photos (street photography) is not a good idea.
Most of my street photography are photos taken while I am in the car, or walking to get to the car ( not walking to take photos 😀)

I often use manual mode in taking photos when I want to show dark shadows. In this shot, I set the shutter to 1/1000s and F8, with 400ISO at 24mm, I never edit my photos, I just add some text and crop it in the mobile before publishing them.
In this shot, there were lots of shadows and sun-lights that helped me in the composition.
