Flowers
Taking photos with zoom lens can give you a beautiful DOF and Macro look, in this shoot i use the tripod and 3 Sec. shatter speed, I set the F to 20 so I will have more details on the background.

Macro looks
Having a Macro lens is a good choice and you will need it soon, but you can get some grate close shoots using zoom lens. Here in this flower session I use the Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 18-300mm to show the macro looks. To see the studio set up Click Here.

Macro
Macro on a small flower were the background is a another bunch of yellow tiny flowers. I use the Nikon D7100, Nikkor 18-300mm to take this shot.

Macro
Here I am using the Tripod, Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 18-300mm lens @ 300m to take some photos of flowers, I set the ISO to 100, Exposure to 1 Sec and the F to 10 so I will get more focus points, more lights.
This is the Studio setup, I use my Galaxy Note3 to take this capture.(i edit the photo to dim the background)

Flowers Bouquet
Using Nikkor 18-300mm lens @ 18mm and Nikon D7100, TT520 for lighting with 100ISO, F/5 and 1/320sec exposure time I take this shoot of a Flowers Bouquet.

Using Nikkor 105mm macro lens on my Nikon D90 camera here are two shoots side by side from the flower session, am using TT520 as a speedlight.

Looks Macro
In this shoot, i am using the Nikkor 18-300mm and i am close to show it as if i am using a macro lens. with Nikon D7100 camera in-hand this shoot is catching the DOF background and play the macro look photo.

In the Garden
Here is a shoot of some Pink flowers from our Garden, Using Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 18-300mm which are a good combination for outdoor photography.

Yellow Flower
A beautiful yellow flower in the last flowers session, here I am using the Nikkor 18-300mm to get close @220mm mounted on the Nikon D7100, TT520 flash and camera oin-hand.
