Macro Testing Nikon 18-300mm
This is another testing for the Nikon 18-300mm as a Macro lens, just take a picture @300mm and be close to the subject then crop on the macro section you want, in the attached photo click to enlarge and see the macro on the Stigma and Anthers part of the flower.
I am using the camera flash, and I notes that when the lens @300mm and the camera flash on and you are close to the subject you will get the shadow of the lens covering the subject. – SAD 😦 .

The Vase and Dry Twigs
I move the Vase with the Dry Twigs from my living room to in front of the window, the camera was 3.5 meter away using Nikon 18-300mm, I use the room light and the day lights from the window plus the camera flash.

Macro Session with 18-300mm
Using the Nikon 18-300mm for the indoors sessions is a challenge, you will find that f/5.6 is not helping you with the lights in your photos, then you need to reduce the shutter speed or to use the flash. In this shot I was in hurry and i fire the camera flash without flash diffuses. Again, I am using the Nikon 18-300mm to test the Macro, in this shot I crop the image to set the Stigma and Anthers as the macro subject.
